Please feel free to join everyone in library to learn more about the exciting things the PSA Board is planning for your student! ********************************************************************** PBIS Corner "The Bulldog Way"4th Grade Students from Mr. Walsh’s class ( Long term sub for Mrs. Eickholt) as well as Mrs. Geiser's class turned in their collected Paws for office prizes. The students chose smelly erasers, colored pencils, crayons and coloring books, squishies and gel pens.
This week is a BUSY week for PBIS after Spring Break. All students will be getting a Playground Booster on how to be safe on the playground and expectations as the weather warms up. They will also learn what to wear during the change of seasons. Please ask your child about this. We follow the 50 degree Rule. If the temperature is below 50 jackets/sweatshirts are required and they must be worn outside. Staff SpotlightSo which staff member enjoys sparkling water and Gardettos; and their entire family begins with the letter J? It's Ms. Haen!

April 12 - Student Council - 7:45 am Forward Testing for 3rd Grade Running club until 4:00 pm PSA Fundraiser at Sweet Mimi's ********************************************** Placement Consideration Form - 18/19 School YearParents requesting special consideration for placing a student for the 2018-2019 school year are asked to answer the questions below. Principal, counselor and teachers will use the information you provide to determine the best placement for the student.
This form must be submitted by Monday, April 16, 2018 to be considered in placement decisions. Consideration Form ********************************************************************** Doughnuts with Dad is coming up quick! Please click here if you need another copy of the RSVP form; as we want to make sure we have enough doughnuts! All students must be chaperoned until the bell rings at 8:30 am; and no students will be allowed on the playground due to the buses arriving.
Running Club is open to any students’ grades 3 & 4 who are interested in improving their cardiovascular endurance, who like running long distances and is up to a challenge. This year we are training for the Cellcom 5K Run (3.1 mile) on May 19 and the Bellin Run 10K (6.1 mile) on June 9.
Practices will take place every Tuesday and Thursday at 3:30 for the months of April and May. Students must have a signed permission slip in order to participate (see link below). The end of practice will vary depending on the distances covered that day. All students will receive a training calendar with distances AND end of practice times. Typically the first week will be done by 4:00 and the last practice in May will end around 4:45. Students should have a good pair of athletic shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. We will be training outdoors. If it is raining, we will run indoors. Parents are also invited to join us for training, joggers and walkers are welcomed. Thursday, April 5-Sat. April 7 - come watch the Bobcat 18U team in the national tournament. There are 8 Bay Port players participating in the tournament. They play Thursday at 8pm, Friday at 8pm, and Saturday at 6pm. Hoping to make it to the quarterfinals on Sunday. Kids that wear Bobcat gear get in free, $5 student tickets for Bobcat games. Saturday, April 7 (9 a.m.-2 p.m.) Spring Craft Show - Fundraiser supporting The Green Bay Area Girl’s High School Hockey Team. $2 Admission (12 and under free) Saturday, April 21 - (9 a.m. - 2 p.m.) The Bay Port Drama Club invites children grades Kindergarten- 6th Grade to register for our biannual Theater Workshop featuring the “Lion King” themed day of fun-filled learning opportunities for students who are excited about theater. This event is named after, Myles, a 9th grader at Bay Port with autism. The event was created to help raise awareness for autism and the message has morphed over the years to be about acceptance. 1 in 68 children are autistic and all of our children will live and work among people with autism.
