******************************************* Meet Our New StaffHello! My name is Carrie LaFrombois and my role at Meadowbrook is a reading interventionist. I bring to this role twenty-five years of teaching experience in special education. The majority of those years were working at Suamico Elementary. Both my undergraduate and graduate degree came from the University of Oshkosh. My husband, Steve, and I have two boys, Owen and Caleb, who attend Lineville Intermediate and Bay View Middle Schools. The boys keep us busy with many sporting events. Caleb swims for the Storm Breakers and Owen plays football at Bay View. Both boys train with Green Bay Multisports and participate in triathlons. Our family also includes the cutest roan colored cocker spaniel! His name is Dodger. As a family, we enjoy participating in the seasonal sports and going on vacations. When I have time, I enjoy reading, running, cooking, and scrapbooking. I am really excited to develop my role as reading interventionist at Meadowbrook and to work with the students, staff, and families. If you ever need to contact me I can be reached at 662-5024 or [email protected].
******************************************* Hi! My name is Niki Van Nuland and I am the new 4th grade teacher at Meadowbrook Elementary. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh where I majored in Regular and Special Education. I have taught two years of Special Education in the Oshkosh Area School District, and two years of 4th grade in the Menasha Joint School District. I grew up in Appleton and now currently live in De Pere. In my free time I enjoy cooking, reading, taking pictures, and playing fetch with my two golden retrievers, Gus and Max. I am also spending a lot of time training for my 3rd marathon this fall! I am looking forward to a great school year. I can be reached at 662-5082 or by email at: [email protected].
