********************************************************************** Books and BlanketsNWTC’s Student Nurses Association "Books 'n' Blankets" event is fast approaching on November 17th from 2pm until 3pm in room 206 of Meadowbrook Elementary School. During our event, Mrs. Crabb’s 3rd grade class, Mrs. Geiser’s 4th grade class and Mrs. Harding’s 2nd grade class will work with NWTC nursing students to create care bundles, including a handmade tie blanket and an accompanying new book nestled alongside. ********************************************************************** Leader of the Pack WinnersEach month students can be nominated by any staff member for the "Leader of the Pack Award". These awards are given to students who are consistently displaying "The Bulldog Way" or have went above and beyond school expectations. Saturday, November 11 -Bay Port Hockey Skate with the Pirates at the Cornerstone Community Center.- Come out and meet your 2017-18 Pirates Hockey Team! Free Admission, $3 skate rentals, all skill levels welcome. Saturday, November 18 - Bay Port Drama Club Workshop (Disney’s MOANA) (9 a.m. - 12 p.m.) -Children ages Kindergarten through 6th Grade. See flyer Cost for workshop is $25 which includes lunch. Reservations must be made by November 10. December 2, 1 p.m. Howard-Suamico Christmas Parade - Winter Wonderland Come and enjoy the floats, bands, candy, and Santa on the streets of Howard. The parade route starts from Bay View Middle School on Cardinal Lane to Glendale Ave, then east to Harwood to Woodale and finishing at Bay View Middle School. ********************************************************************** |
