********************************************************************** October Leader of the Pack WinnersPlease consider helping us toilet paper The Giving Tree!In anticipation of Bay Port's Homecoming festivities next week, we have decided to have some festivities of our own! Please consider sending some toilet paper with your child as a donation for The Giving Tree if you are able; we promise it wont end up in a tree!
Here are the themes that were chosen: Monday-Crazy Hair Day Tuesday-Hat Day Wednesday-Wacky Wednesday: mismatched clothes, inside out, etc. Thursday-PJ Day Friday- Bay Port Clothing Thank you for your consideration; we promise to share pictures of the turn out! ********************************************************************** Let's Recycle TogetherNew this year we will be collecting aluminum cans; and periodically taking them into Alter Recycling. All money earned will benefit Meadowbrook directly! So rather than throwing them into your general recycling; please consider dropping them off in the fenced in area near the sheds in our staff parking lot. We will discuss our progress at the monthly Bulldog Bash and promise to update as the money begins to accumulate. Thanks for your consideration!
********************************************************************** Meadowbrook will once again be participating in the annual Walk to School Day!
Our guidance counselor, Mrs. Laughrin, teaching our kinder friends about the importance of the A.L.I.C.E. drill and how they can use the skills they learn to keep themselves safe no matter where they are! Junior Achievement needs your help!Junior Achievement of Brown County is still looking for volunteers to work with Meadowbrook students. They provide training and will give you all the materials needed, and you are welcome to co-teach if you would like. It’s not a huge commitment, just 5 visits for 45 min each time. Please contact Laura Belter at 920.336.1444 if you want to learn more!
